1/4 cup Teriyaki or Soy Sauce
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
3 TBSP olive oil
2 TBSP fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tsp steak seasoning, divided (Mesquite, Montreal, Chicago, Kansas City)
black pepper, to taste
1 large red bell pepper, sliced
1 large orange or yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 large sweet onion, sliced

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy/teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, parsley/cilantro, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.

  6. Season sirloin with 1 tsp steak seasoning.
  7. Remove sirloin from pan to a platter to rest
  8. To the skillet add bell peppers and onion. Season with 1 tsp steak seasoning and black pepper. Add additional olive oil if needed
  9. Cook 5 minutes, scraping the brown steak bits from the bottom of the skillet
  10. Cook until browned and crisp tender
  11. Add sirloin back to the pan. Stir until heated through, then serve
