Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 TBSP olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 TBSP unsalted butter
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper
  3. Add steak to the skillet in a single layer (cook in batches if needed to prevent overcrowding)
  4. Cook 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking
  5. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium
  7. Add butter and let it melt
  8. Add minced garlic and dried thyme; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
  9. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the garlic butter sauce
  10. Plate and serve
