Chili

Ingredients

1.5 lbs Ground beef
1 Green bell pepper
1 cup Onion
2 Garlic cloves
29 oz Diced tomatoes
15 oz Kidney beans (undrained)
15 oz Tomato sauce
1 tsp Ground cumin
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1 Tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Garlic salt
1 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

  1. cook ground beef, onions, green pepper and garlic in 5-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned (10 to 12 minutes). Drain off fat
  2. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Continue cooking until mixture comes to a full boil (5 to 8 minutes). Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until flavors are blended (40-45 minutes).
