Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients

1 cup Water
1 cup Butter
4 T Cocoa
2 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Sour cream
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Eggs
FROSTING Pour over warm cake
1/2 cup Butter
4 T Cocoa
6 T Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla
16 oz Powder sugar

Directions

  1. Bring 1 cup butter, 1 cup water and 4 T cocoa to a boil. Let cool. When cool add flour, sugar and salt mix well. Add sour cream, baking soda, vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Pour into a greased 12 x 18 cookie pan. Bake 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes..
  2. Frosting bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and powder sugar, pour over warm cake.
