Slow Cooker Green Beans

Ingredients

2 lbs Fresh green beans
6 strips Bacon
1/4 cup Chopped onion
1 T Kosher salt

Directions

  1. Clean the green beans. Break in half. Cut the bacon in half and chop onions. Add green beans, onions and salt to slow cooker. Add enough water to just cover the green beans. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  2. Notes: Adjust the salt based on the sodium content of the bacon you use.
