Fresh Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

1 small box Strawberry jello
1 cup sugar (or 2/3 cup) Sugar
3 tablespoons Corn starch
1 1/2 cup Water
1 Baked pie shell
1 quart Strawberries

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, add water. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickens and becomes clearer. Cool to room temperature. Spread a small amount over bottom and sides of baked pie shell. Arrange berries stem side down, in pie shell. Spoon glaze carefully over berries being sure each is well coated. Chill at least 3-4 hours, better overnight. Garnish with whip cream when ready to serve.
