Lasagna

Ingredients

8 oz lasagna noodles
1 Tbsp cooking oil
1 lb Mozzarella cheese
Meat Sauce
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic
16 oz crushed tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
2 tsp sugar
8 oz tomato sauce
Ricotta Mixture
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp Parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven 375
  2. Cook meat, onion, and garlic until meat is brown, drain off fat.
  3. Stir in the undrained tomatoes, sauce, paste, and oregano, basil and sugar. Let simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Put noodles in boiling salt water with the cooking oil. Drain and rinse noodles.
  5. Beat eggs, ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper.
  6. Layer halve noodles, halve ricotta mixture, halve mozzarella, and half meat sauce. Repeat layers
  7. Bake for 30-35 mins or until hot.
