| 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk |
| 1 tbsp sherry or brandy |
| 1 tbsp dry mustard |
| 1 lb lump crabmeat |
| 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
| dash paprika |
| 1 loaf toasted Italian bread |
