Mini Big Mac Cheeseburgers

Ingredients

8 slider buns
1 lb ground beef
1 TBSP minced onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
4 slices american cheese
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
dill pickle, sliced
1 bottle special cheeseburger sauce or Thousand Island dressing
1 egg, whisked
1 TBSP butter, melted
1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and egg. Do not over mix - just mix until combined.
  3. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil
  4. Form the meat mixture into a rectangle just slightly larger than the slider buns. You want to form the rectangle so that after baking you can place the meat patty on top of the slider buns. Make sure the thickness is even so it cooks evenly.00
  5. Bake the meat for about 12 minutes. Check regularly to be sure to not over cook it.
  6. Split or cut the slider buns into tops and bottoms.
  7. Spoon about 1 TBSP of the cheeseburger sauce (or Thousand Island dressing) onto the bottoms of the slider buns.
  8. When the meat is cooked, blot it with a paper towel to remove the excess grease.
  9. Transfer the meat to the bottoms of the slider buns
  10. Top with american cheese, shredded lettuce, and pickles (and other desired condiments)
  11. Top with the slider tops.
  12. Brush butter on the tops of the slider buns and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  13. Cut burgers into servings and enjoy!
